Beaches

The territory of the municipality of Arzachena, where the village of Abbiadori and the Charming House Iconic Luxury Suites are located, is home to some of the most beautiful and famous beaches of northern Sardinia and the Costa Smeralda.

Here is a selection of those that are absolutely unmissable and accessible within a few minutes' drive from our Suites.

Liscia Ruja beach: this is the closest to the Charming House. It is the largest and best-equipped beach on the Costa Smeralda (it is also known as Long Beach) and is characterised by fine white sand and clear turquoise waters.

Romazzino: the beach is named after romazzinu, a rosemary plant that grows in this area. The shoreline is in fact surrounded by typical Mediterranean scrub, the sand is rather coarse and the seabed not too shallow, characteristics that make it unique among the beaches of the Coast.

Prince's Beach: it is one of the most popular spots on the Emerald Coast and owes its name to Prince Karim Aga Khan who elected it as his favourite. It is a bay of fine white sand surrounded by lush Mediterranean scrub. The white sand of the seabed gives the water a colour that takes your breath away; the shallow water and the view of the island of Mortorio make this place a true paradise, also ideal for families.

Capriccioli beach: one of the most famous beaches on the Costa Smeralda, Capriccioli beach is located a short distance from Cala di Volpe and consists of two coves - Capriccioli East and Capriccioli West - both surrounded by fragrant Mediterranean scrub. The sea here is deep blue and the panorama is embellished by beautiful granite rocks sculpted by the wind, typical of Gallura.
